2005-05-06 [Yuriona]: No I'm afraid you can't [Elmiira], the costume must be a design based on a game or game theme. For example... you could design a new costume for a character from a game - say a new dress sphere for Yuna in FFXII. Or you could design and outfit for your wood elven character that you play in D&D. If you're into the many RPs here on Elftown, draw your RP character with the costume you designed for them. All entries though must fit the described theme or will be removed.

2005-05-07 [Broken Saints]: Those two ideas (the joker and ace) could technically be concidered to be from the Batman series, which had about 300 million games made for it. SO, I dont think it'll be a problem.

2005-05-09 [Elandain]: How strict are you being with the size limitations? I kept mine reasonable... but because of all the detail, it might be hard to see at 300x300. I've already shrunk it down by 300%... But I can certainly resize it if need be.
2005-05-10 [Savien]: The size restrictions are fairly strict. I know a lot of detali gets lost in resizing, but you might get by that by posting a link to a larger version.
2005-05-10 [Elandain]: So that means most of the pictures submitted so far are disqualified?
2005-05-10 [Savien]: Not exactly. It's still early in the contest, so I'm asking that everyone please resize the images that are too large. If detail is an issue, like I said, post a link to the image. Any images that don't fit the size restrictions will be removed in one week. They can, of course be re-entered if they are re-sized.

2005-05-10 [Yuriona]: All costume designs are to be from a game whether it be a video game or a role play game. Comics are not games.
2005-05-10 [Konobi]: I know.. but I'm planning on doing an extravegent, single character based from the game MegaMan. It's not going to be a comic, but a single character re-animated from one sprite.
2005-05-10 [Yuriona]: If the design is reflective of the video game MegaMan then the entry should be fine.

2005-05-10 [Yuriona]: I don't even know what sprite art is. I just assumed it would be allowed since it is a costume design inspired by the Megaman game. I'm not the administrator of this contest though. I could be wrong.
